I have to confess..I don't care too much for Valentines Day. There I said it! Sorry to all the gushy lovers out there who love to create scavenger hunts and try to out beat their creativity from last year. I don't know why its just never been my thing, and I have to join the crowd that says why have only one day a year to show someone you love them. I imagine Valentines Day is now my husbands favorite haha! What I do love about the holiday is the candy, the fun with the kids ( I do something for them of course) and definitely the color red. I'm loving all the bright orangey reds Ive been seeing so much of, and the monochromatic looks in the color are a current fave. So, while you might not see me decorating my husbands car or buying that cheap box of chocolates, you will see some yummy heart shaped cinnamon rolls for breakfast, jars of colorful candy and something bright red this Valentines.
