Gilded Shelves

So after seeing this little diy genius shown above on For Chic Sake, I decided it was time to get crafty. I found a metal shelf on a selling site similar to Craigslist for $20, bought a can of gold spray paint at Lowes and voila! Now if only I wasn't ripping my hair out decorating it. Here's a look at my slightly undecorated version below... the finished product soon to come!


Does anyone else find decorating shelves daunting!? If only these were the only shelves in my room looking desperate! Ahhhh....
